Not very thorough, I had to take my car in to another mechanic only a month after bringing it here for several repairs, and many important things had been missed. They are also quite rude.

They took advantage of me!
I had my car towed there because my battery was completely dead on central and the express way. I had my 6 month old and 4 year old with me. It was blazing hot and I just wanted the car fixed. He charged me $310 plus tax to change my battery. He overcharged me and took advantage of me. He doesn't know how to take care of customers that aren't happy. He said a racist remark towards me and called the cops and was told, he was in the wrong. Go somewhere else,better off.
I passed by this shop all the time and I never drove in until recently, I wish I drove in years ago. I used to go to another shop, where I had a problem with the car shifting. Those mechanics replaced my transmission but that didn't solve the problem. But 1st Auto service had checked my van out, and right away they knew it was not the transmission but the catalytic converter. And it cost less than $250
parts and labor, rather than the $2000 i spent on the transmission at the other shop. Anyways these guys are honest, fair and they try their best to solve the problem. Try them out!
