Fabulous food! I have walked by on several occasions and was certainly not disappointed when finally trying their place. You can tell the food is made from scratch and with skill. The real buffalo mozzarella in the caprese is a nice change and the lamb was cooked perfectly. Ambiance was nice and relaxed, not overly noisy. Waiters are very nice and attentive. Wine list is impressive. Biagio himself was nice enough to introduce himself at our table; A very pleasant surprise. Apparently they have monthly wine tasting events too. We will definitely return. I came to this restaurant for my father's birthday and the food was incredible. It is an authetic portuguese restaurant on James street in Hamilton. For an appetizer we had the Bruchetta, which is baked pizza style bread topped with tomato, onion and garlic. Yumm! For the dish I ate the Filete com arroz, which is fish filete with seafood rice. The dish cost $17 but was really cheap considering the amount of food that was provided. I will definetely return to this restaurant and recommend anyone to try this place. They have a large menu with many options. If you havent tried portuguese food or just love the food, you wont be disappointed at the Wild Orchid. Read more

We took our two daughters to the Keg this evening and the food was very good. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, the sides were all warm and everything was very flavourful. The kids menu, colouring items and special details (fruit/veg right away) made it a great family location. Our only issue was the service. We spent a lot of time waiting for the server to come check on us and the kids started getting whiny. Read more
