After discovering that Drupati's/Roti Roti was closed, I decided to visit Alima's while reading online reviews. Warning: This is a take-out only place. There are no tables/chairs to eat-in. When I walked in, no one was at the counter. Had to wait a coupla minutes for someone to come to the counter. This seemed normal as no one was bothered by it. Being that it was my first visit, I had some questions that the worker patiently answered, suggesting different options. She was very helpful. Expecting to sitdown, I ended up eating by my car, on the grass. That didn't bother me much. Food was nicely packaged, neat not spilling all over the place. Parantha roti wasn't hot, more chewy than flaky/soft. Curry itself was very flavourful and not too salty - as I find most places tend to be. If in the area and want to do a pick-up, I think Alima's is a good option. (Place seemed quite busy with a revolving door of people coming in to pick up their orders that they phoned in!) I read many reviews from many places and decided I didn't want to visit this place, after bumping into a friend who had RAVE reviews I decided to give it a shot and dam I am GLAD! The eating area decor is old and not meant to impress, but many reviews said it was dirty I did NOT find that it is a truck stop. I read there are rude waitresses, well there isn't any waitresses at all so that issue was void. You order your food and wait for your number to be called is how the purchase process works. What you get is a GREAT tasting steak for a crazy value, 12oz your choice of 3 cuts NY, Tbone, or rib eye AND fries for $11.99, OR feeling more hungry 16oz same cut choices for $12.99 but no sides. I went there the first time one week ago and have been there 4 times my orders have been the 12oz special with fries and 16oz without fries all times were great. SO you love steak but can't afford the crazy prices and don't care about decor this place can't disappoint, great steak and portions for budget pricing. Read more

Chelsea is a laid back restaurant with lots of charm and excellent food. We have been coming here for lunch for years and are always made welcome by the friendly host and are never disappointed. The grilled trout is particularly tasty as is the chicken mandarin salad favoured by my wife. During cold weather we love the home made carrot and ginger and potato leek soups followed by the tasty liver and onions or the hearty steak and kidney pie. The bumbleberry pie will round off your dining pleasure. The Chelsea gives excellent value for money. Try it and you will find yourself repeating the pleasant experience. Read more

Ok so Sauga is full of great places, and Axia is one of those great places we always meet friends at when we're in the region. The sushi here is quality and consistent. You can tell right away that they use a higher grade of fish than some of the local AYCE (all-you-can-eat) places. The Dragon rolls and spicy rolls are pretty much different than any other place I've been to which keeps me coming back. The wifey doesn't like sushi, so she likes to stick with the Chinese and Thai food which she absolutely loves. The look and feel is nice, sort of like an outdoorsy theme. Service was friendly and fast and the bill is reasonable for a place like this. Anyways, give Axia a try, it's one of those places that'll keep you coming back for more. Read more
