Straight up awesomeness with a capital "Awe"! Alright where do I begin? Walking into this place was really impressive! The decor was spot on. High-end retail meets upper class martini lounge feel. I expected to be throwing down some major dough but the prices are insanely great especially considering the quality of what you're getting. The staff are so helpful and actually care about you. They want you to see well and to rock your eye-wear too. They're knowledgeable and definitely instill a feeling of family and home with all their clients. The lenses are top notch and the brands are from Europe (some of which you'll be hard pressed to find anywhere else). You'll be walking out of the boutique not just with sweet eye-wear but also with a feeling of consumer satisfaction that you can't get anywhere else. A++! Did I already say this place is awesome? I would definitely recommend working with optician Mathew at The Eye Opener in Port Coquitlam when you are next shopping for prescriptive glasses. He was professional, courteous and very helpful throughout the whole experience. He really listens to what you want and then tries to match you up with frames that are suitable. The final price for my new progressive lenses was good and I was also happy with what he charged to put new lenses into glasses I already had. Read more
