The food here is your standard family diner fare in terms of quality, nothing special, but the selection is quite varied, Greek food, Italian, English/North American, basic burgers, I can't see anyone going here and not being able to find something they like. But above all is the location, right beside the falls. Sure, when eating on the deck it makes whispered conversation a wee bit difficult, but it's a good noise that's relaxing rather than annoying. Just sit down and enjoy!

Yep, its really that great!
This is one of those staples in Lindsay, right on the main street, kinda small and understated; but once you've eaten here you will always come back.
Jane's menu is simple, and enjoyable. Everything is always great, service included. They are very accommodating, and fairly priced. Others have complained about the decor, but I think it adds to the "Kountry Kitchen" charm.

what can i say,,we absolutely love judy's place..we visit regularly and know the staff by first name. The staff are super nice and never have a problem substituting orders for my kids. The owner and cook always brings out a complimentary bowl of chocolate chip cookies for my kids everytime we eat there. the food is fantastic and the prices are great! as for decor, iv seen some other somewhat negative remarks in regards to it , but even tho its clearly not done by a interior designer, its comfortable and bright. You gotta love when you can go into a place and say i'll have the usual and the waitress knows exactly what and how you like it prepared. i definately recommend eating at judy's. Great food and Quick and friendly service:)

Located several blocks south of the main downtown street, this house converted over to a country-decor eatery is a popular breakfast spot for locals! It can be crowded on weekends. Breakfast is plentiful with home fries & fresh fruit - well cooked,not greasey! Delicious eggs benedict! It has great dinners here too, providing free live weekend entertainment later in the summer evenings. (Easy listening/Western/Rock& Roll two person bands seem the norm...well suited to the casual dining atmosphere in this licensed restaurant!) This is our favourite place to dine on our way to cottage country in the summer! It has a friendly efficient staff. The food is cooked by the owner - chef with several skilled helpers. Their pride in their culinary arts shows with healthy creatively cooked meals. Some of their dinners are so large that they offer 1/2 orders - this choice in their great Roast Beef & Yorkshire Pudding Dinner was plenty for me! With good seating for small or large groups, this is definately a family restaurant serving all age groups. They serve breakfast early and go to mid afternoon, then close for an hour or so then open for dinner. Limited free parking behind the house and on the local street. Try to go at off hours to be assured a seat in this popular eatery!

We spend out summers at Bobcaygeon and visit Cody's with friends and family as often as possible. Wish there was chinese food 1/2 as good available in Burlington where we spend the winter. Theyre the most polite people and man do they make fantastic pizza, poutine and garlic bread. Id really love to give them a 5 star but my only complaint is the price and even though it might be steep you really do get what you pay for.Also recommend they go with loaf bread for the garlic bread the slices are great but I feel that the given 8 might be a tad slim and even if they have to up the price a tad for a loaf I guess thats fine as well. Love the place recommend it over Bills Pizza House.

I'm not sure what restaurantica12 problem is with this restaurant. Me and my husband comes here about once a month and it's fantastic, except simetimes when he gets the full rack of ribs one of them isn't the greatest. And honestly it's the best meal for your buck. Will recommended it to anybody who isn't fussy on where they eat just what they eat. Good home cooked meals. Yummy yummy!

Stopped in on Canada Day after the raining parade. 3 kids in tow. We had heard they had great pizza so decided to stop. My kids have only eated chain pizza once or twice in their lives and it's greasy cardboard so we don't even bother. This was a marvelous find! Hands down best pizza I've ever had... next to this place in Lewiston NY 10 years ago LOL Seriously, the Thin crust, and homemade sauce is something else! Went for my sons birthday, there was 7 of us - luckily they were able to seat us pretty fast (15 minutes) considering we had no reservation on a saturday night. Got the big momma, SO GOOD! food came surprisingly fast, my husband and I ordered the all you can eat ribs, our waitress refilled our ribs before we were even finished so they came out at the same time as we finished, all of our meals were delicious and then they 'birthday train' came and my son LOVED IT, the horns, the song, everything!

Being a Vegan for only 10 months I find it almost impossible to eat anywhere! We went to the Old Newcastle House and I was advised to try the veggie stir-fry. I have to admit I was hesitant, it was fabulous!!! I love to cook so therefore find it hard to find food I can say I love in most places!!! The company I was with also really enjoyed their food a lot! I have to say being OCD I always tend to look at the surroundings and this place is a little gem it is extremely clean ( which I love ) and beautifully decorated. This is our second visit and I look forward to many more !!!

Our soccer team and parents, a party of 30+, invaded for lunch and we were really impressed with the service, the food, the atmosphere, everything was amazing! The server, Hunter, remembered everyone's names, no ones orders were mixed up, the separate bills were all correct... It's been years since I had been to an East Side's, as I'm not a big fan of chain restaurants. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh, quick, and the service was good.
