Always a great spot to take out of town guests. Service is always perfect. If you can't get a spot on the patio, the open air of the main floor makes the room very comfortable. Music can be a little loud. IF you sit at the bar, the shuckers are very entertaining and knowledgeable about all the seafood. All the items I have ever tried have been exceptional. The food is amazing. Portions are considered large comparing to the average Montreal French bistro. Good place for a date. Also good atmosphere for a small 5a7 (there is a large long table for 10-12pp at the back near the bar).
The only negative is that the service is average. The waitress is not that attentive or customer-centric. For example, she would list the daily special without mentioning the prices, unless prompted. Such customer service basic is lacking with the wait staff.
