Future Bakery is a family-run business in Toronto specializing in traditionally made breads, buns, pastries, and fresh dairy products from local farms, emphasizing natural ingredients without preservatives.
Love their fresh bread. My favourite is the rye bread (without currants). But I have tried several other loaves as well. Good thing I have a deep-freeze for when I walk out yet again with more than one. This bakery also offers many other imported items. And it is the only where I can get a great sauerkraut and red cabbage. I could go on about other items (butcher counter, front counter fresh pastries), but I urge you to go and find out for yourselves. Enjoy!
Hi Future Bakery. I bought a package of the 680 gram, dark Pioneer bread and found it to be tasty and judging from the simple ingredients, nutritious. But there is a problem with this loaf. It is as hard as rock. More so when toasted and then more difficult to chew. We liked this bread and thought it a pity that this problem exists. Is there any way to make if softer without compromising it's nutritional and taste qualities? We avoid the breads of the major bakeries and all the toxic ingredients
